Yep, My Tom started "prowling his route" a couple weeks ago. Comeback for a snack and a nap next to the stove. Few hours later he is howling wanting back out and will be gone for 16 hours or so. The other night I fell asleep on the couch and didn't get wood put in the stove for the night so it went out about 2am or so and got a bit chilly in the house. The 80lb yellow lab climbed up with me and so did the cat. I was so out of it I didn't relize they were up there till morning when I got up. No blanket, but I stayed toasty warm! They earned their keep that night. That cat and dog are good pals and get along great.
