Daniel, i bought a Belarus 250AS 5 or 6 yrs ago. It is a 92 model. It has been a good tractor for me. It isn't real pretty, but strong and mine has
been real reliable. starts every time. I had to have the clutch adjusted once and I also had to rebuild the starter. Like you, I couldn't see spending $2500 to $3500 for a 50 yr old worn out tractor. Hope this helps. E-mail me if you need any more info...Emery
