THINKING ABOUT BUYING A BELARUS TRACTOR...WHAT DO YOU THINK???

I am still in search of my first tractor and very much appreciate all the great advise I've been given on this forum.... I know this my sound a bit blasphamis.... but there is a dealer about 20 miles from my house who sells the Russian made Belarus Tractor. I never heard of it until a few days ago. I went to look at them... they look pretty good. I can get a 1994 Belarus 250AS for around $4,000. On the other hand I am still looking around at some of the great old tractors around here in northern Mississippi - mostly Ford 8n's.....what do you think...should I spend $2,000 on a fifty year old tractor or $4,000 on a six year old one??? I know there are probably a lot of things I need to consider... does anyone out there know anything about Belarus Tractors??? Let me hear from you before I become a communist!!!
