I have both at different locations. Direct TV has a good channel lineup and I think better Sports packages. Direct TV charges for 4.99 for each reciever.
Dish has a single reciever that works for 2 tv's at no additional charge.
Just a note - I have an old antenna that the reception for analog stations is Poor but the digital reception is outstanding - and it's free!
