New Holland made a rake/tedder combination (254) that does a good job. I have used one for the last 10 years and it has never given any trouble. It has not been off my rakeing tractor in all those years. It takes about one minute to turn it from a tedder to a rake and you are ready to go. I have two of them in case my old one breaks down but it has actually never broken other than a few broken teeth, and the spare just sits in the shed ready to go. I picked up my last one (in very good shape) for $800.00 at a farm auction.
