If it hasn't just dried out from sitting,there might not be any hope. BUT,with that said,I bought a White 2-135 tractor about 7 years ago. Don't know how long it had been sitting on the dealer lot,but after just a little running,oil was running out the rear main seal in a stream. I went to the autoparts store,figured I had nothing to loose. Bought some Lucas oil addative. Half a day of chisel plowing it was down to a drip,within 2 days,sealed it right up. Here it is 7 years later,I can park it right out in the snow and not a drop of oil under it. Lucas makes different additives,and I couldn't tell you exactly which one I used,but must have said something about engine seals on it. OR MIRACLE

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
