I just sold a 94 F250 4x4 that had a 460 and it was running good at 196K, no major engine repairs. I did have to replace the E40D tranny at 178K. I pulled a big gooseneck and hauled a lot of 15k-20k lb. loads at 5-6 mpg. and the best I ever got out on the road was 12 mpg. with the 4:10 rear end. That old Ford was a good truck but can"t compare to the 04 Duramax that replaced it, it"s just AWESOME!!!
