B&D , I had a fender-mount radio for years on my Ford 5200. Never used the speaker, but had earphones wired up instead. Best thing I ever did as it cut the exhaust noise nearly in half. If a tooth in a cultivator broke (as example) I caught it before it cleared the implement while wearing those earphones, it cut down that much noise and I still enjoyed the music.
