Never liked a radio on the fender as vibration always breaks out the top of the fender .and like ya said ya go deaf in one ear. When i had a radio on my one tractor it was mounted on the steering column and since the tractor had a straight pipe ya had to turn the volume up almost all the way to hear it But the people in the next township could hear it plan as day .
