I suspect that you are dealing with Farell Gas. They are sending out bills for "tank rent" of $80 or $125/year. I have seen both. Then they charge an exhorbinate price per gallon of about $3/gal for the "small user". And then they have instituted a whole bunch of charges for "tank removal" and "pumping out" the tank, and about 20 other charges for their miscellaneous "services".
Just this afternoon I worked out the details for a different LP service from one of the area ag coops, which I purchase other items from already. Check aroung your area, many people around here are fed up and have switched to a more sensible supplier.
