If ya happen to hit the memphis area about the time for a meal take a small detour and hit Tunica,Ms. and go to the Blue and White Restaurant. It's a small place that has been in business since 1937 I think and the food and people are great! There is the National Ornamental Iron Museum in Memphis along with Graceland, and Beale street if you like light life.
Up around Sikeston Mo. when your on 55 you will be about 3 miles from Lambert's, home of thrown rolls. Again good food and good people. If you like tractor salvage yards there are 3 real good ones on the same exit there just the opposite direction.
