Looks like he can lift lighter loads & haul them around.
Heavier loads he can set the lift down on it's 2 legs, and swing the load up with the hyd cylinder. The weight of the load is on the 2 legs, and so the entire tractor would need to be lifted up, not just the front wheels. Of couse he can't drive around this way....
The 3pt would never want to raise upward, weight is always on the 3pt holding it down. It would want to pivot back & down, but the top link stops it from going back, and the legs keep it from going down, so it would need to flip the entire tractor over - front & rear tires, which can't be done without the thing breaking or hyd pressure running out. It never would put upward pressure on the 3pt, just pivot down & back....
