talk about childish thoughts you take the award. The newer plants handle the fly ash dry and sell it for cement additive. Bottom ash is put in a silo and water is seperated from it prior. That is hauled to a pile and sold for surfacing lanes gravel roads etc. Fly ash has been used to firm up track beds etc also. The power plant I worked at for 30 years can,t keep up with demands. sort of like the packing industry sell everything but the squeal.I think both are safe but it is the mess of the spill that is hard to deal with
