I can tell you exactly what you want to know. I've had double ring chains for years. They ride better, go on way easyer, grip very good on ice/mudd, and clean themselves good. They were getting wore down. My brother bought a brand new set of duo-grip chains for his tractor. Shortly afterwards, he sold the tractor. I bought the like new duo-grip chains from him(cheep). I would say they perform about the same as double ring chains. They take WAY longer to put on the tire. And ride way rougher. BUY THE DOUBLE RINGERS.
