If it's advive you want,it's free from me,so take it for what it's worth. The wife had a Blazer,the little S10 size. Thing was nothing but trouble. She was doing home health care,out on these Michigan roads everyday,year around. We bought a Ford Explorer Sport Trac. She's got over 230,000 trouble free miles on that thing. V6 4x4,gets around 20 mpg. Has a 4 foot box. We can haul the 4 wheeler in it by leaving 2 of the wheels on the tailgate. I don't care what your opinion of a Ford is,she didn't really want one either,but we both love that little truck.
