Depending on the person, 74 isn't that old. Are you going to use the tractors? If you just wanted to resell them, I'd tell her that you'd try to get them running, clean them up and sell them on a commission for her. Maybe $1000 or $1500 depending how much work they need. Then you wouldn't have to worry about your conscience and she'd be really grateful. The fact that you're ready to bang your head off the wall, answers your questions.
