It hasnt been to cold, yet, 29 today, so they are eating pretty normal but it is going to be a high of 8 above tomorrow so everybody got some fresh bedding today and we have enough hay out to last a couple extra days. The ice is everywhere. It took probably close to an hour friday morning as the sun was coming up to get the doors to the sheds open. Gates, doors, nothing works right in this mess. We will be chipping ice off of things for a few days. Luckily I only have fallen once. The ice isnt as slick as sometimes. We got some sleet with it so it is a very tough but rough surface, still slick enough you have to be careful walking and to slick for tractors to get any real traction. I would rather have gotten a foot of snow. I hate ice! bill
