I just renewed my subscription for the 3rd time. I"ve gone thru 3 receivers in my trucks in 3 years. Just got a new one for my birthday that takes a memory card...functions as an mp3 player so I can load my cds to it.
I don"t know how I spent as much time on the road without one as I did. Wouldn"t be without it. Now that the 2 providers, XM and Sirius, have merged, they both are transmitting almost all the channels on either service. I have always had XM, but had access to Sirius for a while.
Delphi makes the receivers that I"ve had. The Roady and Roady XT were good ones. Just got the Skyfi3, no experience yet. The other post is very true about the antenna wire being fragile. When mine broke, I just got a new receiver package for barely more than a separate antenna. I also upgraded to a heavier duty antenna that one of my drives showed up with and left on the truck. Heavier mounting bracket, no magnet, and heavier wire.
Hope this helps.....
Also, they"ve been running commercials for a lifetime subscription that I haven"t had time to check out yet....
