A lot of people in Central MO. used to bite the bullet and buy a larger acreage. Chunk off the house and barn and some acreage, then sell off the rest.
What you want is what everyone else wants. Prices have not gone down. Larger acreages scares the horse people and gets you a lower price per acre.
