In my line of work many migrant workers (legal and illegal) have left to go home due to not enough work in construction. I can't blame them. If they're not going to make enough to cover bills here and send money home, they might as well go home to their families. They'll make just as much there. At my company, so many have left that they can't find any labor to hire. Some high paid Operators have been working in the ditch and flagging traffic just to fill in. Funny how things change.
