That rifle is a Savage 110. It is more like a $350 rifle than a $1200 one. I can not make out the scope, but the mounts are inexpensive Weavers. It is an amazing that reciever didn't become schrapnel. Those are tough rifles. For about $100 that guy could bolt on anouther barrel and go shooting. Although I susbect that guy may have developed an uncontrollable flinch everytime he pulls a triger.
