$500 sounds plenty steep unless everything is almost like new and the fertilizer attachment is rust-free. I would agree with the other posters - save up a few more coins and get a 7000 series instead - you will be alot happier with it in the long run. Unless you want it for it vintage reasons (a 1972 3020 pulling a 1240 is more "correct" than pulling a 7000; that sort of thing)
