If the model/serial nr plate is still on the steering cowl, starting serial nr for model year 1958 is 6095009, for 1959 6120001.
If tag missing, 1958 steering wheel is mounted on the shaft with a woodruff key and secured with an acorn nut. 1959 steering wheel hub is splined on the shaft secured with a regular hex nut covered with a medalion cap.
There are some other '58 & '59 differences but that is a very quick check.
