Lynn, I don't know how much torgue it takes but you should be able to turn it over by turning the fan blade fairly easy. You may have to pull the pistons out and see if they are scared. They will scar with out marking the walls. Do you know what caused it to quit running? Did it just die or just loose speed gradually and stop? What kind of work were you doing when it quit? Did you check compression before pulling the head? That's a good way of checking the pistons and rings. How many cylinders are there in this engine. What did you gauges read before it stopped? Sorry for all the questions. But these are the things I would be looking at if it were mine. John in Illinois
