It is methanol, an alcohol, it is missable with water, Like a gin and tonic, It will not seperate in to a bi-layer like gasoline and water does. It works great, it will melt ice in the fuel lines and take it through the motor. It cures the problem. If you buy any of the ethanol gasoline mixes you should not have ice or water problems anyway. However you may have all sorts of other problems, from gaskets and fuel lines to the O2 sensor.
