just read an article about Ford installing a new design six cylinder engine in their pickups in 1941. it was a flathead with a few more cubic inch than the flathead v8.It had more torque than v8 and same hp. I think it is the same engine that was installed in 8n ford tractors using one of the conversion kits such as the Funk. A neighbor had one and had a lot of power it seemed.I know where one used to be parked.(not for sale).anyone have any experience with them,and how did the tractor hold up to the extra power???????????????????///
