If it's still original, the master pin has a head on it and is held in by a snap ring. When tension is taken off the track, it will drive out easy. If it's been replaced, or it's a newer crawler, e.g. 450B, 450C, etc. - the masterpin has no head - just a little dimple mark in the center. It fits very tight and the link needs to be heated. Then either pushed out with a hydraulic pin driver - or with a large punch and hammer.
