Heard on the news last night, Ft. Worth, Tx. is getting 6mil in bailout funds to stop home foreclosures. Here's the plan, give folks $20,000 to help them buy a house. If they stay in the house 5 yrs. the "loan" is forgiven. Just more incentive to get folks in homes they can't afford.
So how does giving a prospective house buyer $20,000 slow foreclosures? Beats me.
Like you, it irritates the fool out of me. James and I work hard and live within our means and all these people who bought more than they could afford get hand outs and bail outs paid for with my money (tax dollars). GRRRRRRR!
