I still run a General Electric E-20 electric lawn tractor that I have owned since the early 70's. It may be a close relative of your tractor, The dealer said it is a wheelhorse chassis and transaxle with all GE electronics.It is a boxy looking little tractor with a hood that flips forward. Under the hood at the front is the battery charger and charge timer, with two 6V batteries behind it. It has four more 6V deep cycle batteries under the seat. It has a front mounted mower deck with three electric motors, each one driving it's own blade. The tractor is painted yellow with white wheels. Does this sound anything like your wheelhorse?
For parts JD sold electric lawn mowers and they use the same electronic parts. Also many of the electronic's are the same as an electric golf cart, and cart shops can supply parts and service. Good luck, I am running out of parts too, hope to keep it running one more year. JH
