I was a year or so too young for Vietnam. My son is in the US Navy. An engineman on the USS Stephen W. Groves, FFG29 out of Mayport Florida. Does Drug interdiction and Anti Terrorism patrols around South America. I was hoping he would make it a career, but with the change in administrations I will probably encourage him to get out ASAP. Too bad.
