I recently did a tire test in Baja with BFG on the new Mud Terrain and it is a truly outstanding tire- much more road worthy than it's appearance would indicate. But...the difference in price between the All Terrain and the Mud Terrain is pretty steep. With all of the OE 8 lug wheels out there now, you could probably get into a set of 16" wheels cheaply- and a 285/75-16 size would open up a pile of options in name brand and privates that you won't find with a 16.5
