Hand picked is always going to be drier than machine picked. See my post on the combine board- picked some low spots to get ready for the tiler- 37%. Neighbors talk about trying some fields- 26-32%. Been combining since 1976, last year was the only year I did not buy LP to dry. Northern corn belt always takes it in the shorts...LP every year, farther to ship to markets...........21% and air dry is nothing to complain about.
