How they can manage to get a chain unhooked and get the gate open is beyond me. This a.m. i discovered my dairy steers out in the cow yard with the beef herd. The biggest one decided he was gonna show the biggest calf who was boss, well now that steer has a bum front shoulder because old Normande mama showed him who was boss. It was quite the adventure getting them all seperated and back into the right pen. I suppose I will let that steer have a few days to get better, if he doesnt I guess I will have to just send him to the locker. Just has not been a good day.
