Have a 1949 "G" with a rebuild Generator and A new Cutout Relay. Also a rebuilt Starter. It's wired as shown in wiring Diagrams less the light switch. After running and shut it down then try to start it after a while the battery has not enough power to turn engine over. I put the battery charger on for a while it will start. Question is do I have to disconnect battery each time after stopping engine?
