Old is right on money on it. After tractors are not started for a while they seem to get moisture or something on the contacts. I usually take a piece (sliver) of very fine wet-dry paper fold it in half where the grit area to the outside and run thru the contacts and then turn the paper over where backing of paper is on outside and run it thru the contacts you will notice dark substance on the paper. Check the point opening and put rotor and cap back on and in most cases I have found the engine will start up. Mike
