Dave, your post yesterday about home-built tractors gave me the impetus I needed to rescue a little tractor my late Uncle built a LONG time ago. It was last run when I drove it as a youngster in the 60's.
My Uncle cultivated MILES of tree rows with it, as well as corn and potatoes.
It was powered by a "model 23" Briggs engine. I am thinking about installing a LUC Deere combine engine, and making a little "Johnny Popper".
Note the rear weight in the last photo... the clutch assembly from a Twin City 12-20 tractor.
