Bought a John Deere 10A hammermill with bagger that had a fresh coat of paint for $35 .....a few sales later I saw one in rough shape....thought I might get it for parts...nope...went for over $200.....
Also bought a Bickford drill press...MT4 with a Jacobs chuck on it, converted to twin v-belts powered by a large electric motor transfering power thru a Ford 4 speed tranny.....I have multiple speeds due to a reversing motor switch....neat setup.....all for $40......no one was bidding because it was so large...buddy nudged me....I bid, won, and then said "how the h*ll am I gettin that home"....luckily the sale was only a short distance from my one building and a buddy bought a Farmall H with loader....gave him $10 to pick it up and haul it down....slowly....
