Bought a Maytag 92 mounted to a tiller contraption for $15. Engine turned over, had compression, seemed like an easy fix. Took it apart to discover everything is shot from the dust of the tiller going through it. Have over $300 worth of parts in it now, still need another $60 or so worth to get it running. :cry: But hey, that's why it's called a "hobby" right?
Other than that one, every auction purchase I've done has turned out pretty good... so far.
