Bought a 315 IH combine for $325, sold it for $900. Bought an F with 3 heads for $2000. Sold the corn head for $3250, used the bean head and pickup head for years, still have the combine. Got a 'choice' bid on Gleaner A638 head or pickup head for M/L for $250. Took both. Rented the corn head to a neighbor that fall for $5 per acre- more than paid for the head. Bought a WC engine for $5 off a junk pile- block was cracked on bottom side, but inside was a near-new set of 45 sleeves and pistons. Must have been a summer overhaul, forgot to put AF in come fall.
