Mainland China made products vary in quality and life expectancy. Some of the Chinese made stuff is built for Japanese companies using the replaced model tooling from Japan and Japanese inspectors- they make the spare parts for the older model Japanese equipment serviced by the Japanese manufacturer, then assemble their own branded equipment with the same basic quality parts- fairly close to the Japanese original. Some of the Chinese products are made by slave/prisoner labor according to some media protestors- (Walmart toys, furniture). Employee moral may vary. Norinco is supposed to be military controlled- SKS's seem good and other equipment fair. RN
