Help! JD "B" has antifreeze in the crankcase

Just bought a JD "B". Flushed the cooling system and tranny oil first last month and about an hour ago I went to change the engine oil. As I loosened the oil drain plug, approx. 2 cups of antifreeze dripped out before it turned to oil. I am definitely upset.

Is this a major internal overhaul or is it normal leakage for this model tractor. I estimate it has been 100 hours since the last oil change. Is two cups antifreeze in 100 hrs no big deal? If I drain this antifreeze regularly, can I keep running the tractor?

I don't have the skills, time or tools to tear apart the motor. How much does something like this cost in hours and parts to fix? I plan on using it about 20 hours per year to cut fields.

I am not a heavy duty mechanic but I am religious about keeping my toys maintained, and so, this is will be a major bummer for me if it is serious.

Grateful for advice,

Mark
