The people I purchased it from said they had just replaced the fuel filter so I suspect they were having this problem and were trying to fix it themselves. Of course I called them and asked them if they"ed had a problem like this and they said know. Both tanks are almost full so I"m going to try running till it dies then I will pull the fuel filter and see if there is a good stream at that point at least I will know if there is some kind of obstruction or vacuum problem. It stands to reason that it would be a vacuum issue since it will restart after a couple of minutes meaning it gives the tank time to breath. Is the fuel cap vented on these and if it is could it be plugged up not letting the tanks breath? And also, how are the tanks connected. I"ve tried the switch on the dash and does it regardless of which tank I have it on or does it matter? Thank you so much for your input!
