Ignore those who prattle on about spark plugs. Should not prevent it from starting, especially if they were alright before! If they are dry there is no fuel getting to the cylinders - carb problem, air leak, a valve, or more, set too tight or damaged.
'Thin' spark is not so good but may reflect the ignition system - loads of kV but not much current. Is compression good on all cylinders? Having a little compression may not be good enough, but it should still start.
Try cranking while spraying carb cleaner or starting aid into the carb inlet. If it fires you will know for sure it is the fuel system.
