I like your idea.Maybe could add this to it,before any more foreclosures the bank has to take a cut in interest rates to say 2 percent and if the people buying the house can afford that,they can keep their house.Im not a finance person either,but it looks like the way it is now,if the bank cant make a killing on it,selling it for more than its worth they want taxpayers to bail them out.If there was less foreclosure the price of houses should come down.I think if the bank would in some cases make a little less money it would help in the long run.By the time you pay for a house if its 50 thousand dollars the bank gets 50 thousand dollars as well,time for that to stop,long ago.
