Ok, I have these 3 red holstien steers and 1 swedish red steer that I have been pouring grain into. They are just over a year to 13 months. I am guessing they are 800-1000#. I am wondering if I can just have one sent at this age/size for hamburger? Market is still down for their weight size and I have people that just want hamburger. My concern is they may not have enough muscle for it to pay. I generally like my BEEF steers 900-1100#, but these guys are costing alot to feed and I want to feed the corn I have left and when it is gone, their gone or become 1/4# grilling material. I figure I have 2-3 weeks of feed available. I have to decide if enough is enough already.
