Herald,my father-in-law was a funeral director every since he was out of WW-II.He took me,and his other son-in-law over to see his new crematorium,and he explained what the procffdure was.The body is placed in a cardboard box,slid into the furnace,the temperature is brought up to 3000 degrees,for 3-4 hrs.When finished the ashes,and what bone fragments are put into a separator tray,and shook separating the two.The bone fragments are usually less than 1 inch long.In my opinion burial,or cremation it leads to the same thing,one is just faster than the other.'From dust you came,from dust you shall return'.
