I will be married 25 years in November. I got to know my wife for 6 months before we got married by talking to her and spending time with her. I found out all I needed to know about this special person in that time. I got married for the good times and the bad. I didn't live WITH her before we were married but I will live FOR her for the rest of my life. Every night before I say MY prayer, I ask her if there is anything I can do for her. Marriage is all about the other person not about ME ME ME. I am not a RELIGOUS person but I do what I feel God wants me to do.
