Well , I've been foiled by the environmental do-gooders again..I've used oil based Olympic Solid Stain on my pole barn for years now...2 years ago they were able to mix it at the Lowes near me..Now they say only transparent stains can be mixed to color..Siding is T-111 and starting to "check" a little..Do any of you know of a solid stain with the oil base in it ?? If it weren't for the dark color [ mahogany] , I'd side the barn and forget about painting...But, those dark colors have a tendency to fade from the sun when sided...Hey thanks in advance...
