Ohio, well said. I agree 100%. People complain about the special interests (corporations, etc). My feeling is that anyone who looks to the govt to improve their situation is a "special interest". I believe govt's job is to provide things that we as individuals CANNOT provide. I.e. defend the borders, regulate commerce between states, etc. I don't think the federal govt should be directly involved in our everyday lives with all the social programs and promises like "a chicken in every pot". Thank you very much, I'll get my OWN chicken. LOL. That being said, like Ohio, I vote for candidates who I think will do the least harm.
