Mostly it's just been panfish, but I have snagged a handful of real nice largemouth...one of 'em nearly 3 lbs.
I live in the thriving metropolis of Shevlin, MN, population 143. That's about 20 miles west of Bemidji, population 11,000.
Glad to hear your getting in a little fishing time. I've been to Bemidji many a times. For some reason i thought you were farther north. Never fished up there . I've fished over by Brainerd alot. Detroit Lakes area. And of course where i grew up the Alexandria chain of lakes. Hey a 3 lb bass is nice up in that neck of the woods. Only ever saw a hand full of 5lb plus bass all the years up there. Panfish are my favorite to fish for, hard to get skunked by them. I've got a few honey holes up in the Alexandria area. LOL
